Fans of the original TV miniseries V awaited the V TV series 2009 with a sense of dread and anticipation. Like many remakes, the V TV series 2009 could ruin a classic. (Like Michael Bay is trying to do with Transformers.) However, the premiere didn't disappoint, did it? In fact, they did a smashing job. ABC DID put it on during the World Series, but that being said, the return of the Visitors was really good, though there haven't been any devoured guinea pigs or alien babies born – YET. (Producers say we will – EXCELLENT!) If the rest of the V TV series 2009 is as good as the premiere, the DVDs might be worth a small cash advance.
