I am a fan of the Blue Star
I am a fan of the Blue Star Families on facebook and they really have a lively and energetic community of members, as well as chapters across the country. A good way to start networking business.
Atlanta museum wants to be a part of the pilot program
I work The Breman Jewish Heritage & Holocaust Museum in Atlanta. I saw the article in today’s AJC from Vivian Greenhouse and would like our museum to become a partner with this program. Our signature gallery deals with the Holocaust through the lives of many survivors who made Atlanta their home.
Our current exhibition is entitled “Dr. Seuss Goes to War… and More” and deals with the days before he was the famous children’s book author when he was an editorial cartoonist. Ted Geisel sounded the alarm about the dangers of fascism and discrimination that were taking place in Nazi Germany before it was popular. We also have a special exhibit showcasing our WW II Jewish veterans.
Please let me know how our museum can be added to others that offer free admission to military families. Also please go to www.thebreman.org to see what we are all about.
Sincerely,
Phyllis
