Congratulations to our Blue Star Families’ Volunteer winners! The President’s Volunteer Service Award (PVSA) was started by the President’s Council on Service and Civic Participation in 2003 as a way to thank and honor Americans who, by example, inspired others to engage in volunteer service. The Council no longer exists, but the program continues as an initiative of the Corporation for National and Community Service. We are lucky to have members of our volunteer team recognized on every level!

Hours are measured over a 12-month period and awards are designated based on cumulative hours. The awards are designed to recognize milestones of service achievement. Along with the ultimate honor of presidential recognition, recipients will receive a personalized certificate, an official coin, and a congratulatory letter from the President of the United States.

Way to go BSF Volunteers! We couldn’t do it without you.
