Stephanie works tirelessly to bring Blue Star Families programs to our members in Germany. So far in 2016, Stephanie has volunteered over 500 hours of her time supporting various Blue Star Families events in Ramstein, including Books on Bases, a Yellow Ribbon event, and multiple speaking engagements. She has also worked hard to bring a virtual Blue Star Museums event to Germany, since we currently do not have any participating Blue Star Museums there.

Here is a comment from her nomination form:
“Stephanie is an outstanding example of a BSF volunteer. She is consistent, enthusiastic, and always on the ready. Earlier this year when BSF was approached by the Senior Vice President of American Red Cross Europe to co-host a Staff Appreciation Day in September, Stephanie jumped at the chance. Always eager and always willing, she brings a level of excitement to activities in Germany. Stephanie demonstrates a ‘can-do’ approach and has great passion for getting books to our milkids.”

We are honored to name Stephanie Dengel our 2016 Salute to Distinction Quarter 2 winner.
