Looking for something fun to do in NYC with your family? Stop by the Children’s Museum of Manhattan (The Tisch Building, 212 West 83rd Street, New York, NY, 212-721-1223). Admission is free for Blue Star Families all year round!

The Museum delights visitors with five floors of excitement and learning. Our PlayWorks™ exhibit is designed specifically for our youngest guests to explore, learn and grow. Children love the alphabet-eating dragon, the fire truck, and a pretend New York deli. The colorful America to Zanzibar: Muslim Cultures Near and Far exhibition lets visitors travel the world in a single visit as it celebrates the diversity of Muslim cultures across the U.S. and the globe. In Adventures with Dora and Diego, sponsored by Nickelodeon, children can join Dora and Diego on their adventures rescuing animals, discovering a cave, dancing at a fiesta, pretending to cook and playing the drum! Our newest exhibit, Let’s Dance! gets families up and moving, with costumes, mirrors, music, dance workshops and a daily dance party! Or, stop by EatSleepPlay™ to meet our famous talking toilet and find out how your family can embrace a healthy lifestyle.

There’s always something going on at the Museum. Children and parents can enjoy family-friendly performances and workshops by world-class dancers, musicians, actors, chefs, artists, illustrators, authors and more! And, we love to celebrate with special programs for holidays like Halloween, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukah, Diwali, and Eid al-Fitr.

At the Children’s Museum, we are committed to helping children thrive. Through exhibits, programs and resources that captivate, educate and enchant, we strive to make transformational experiences available to all children—to inspire their curiosity about the world and their confidence to explore it! We also offer resources and strategies for parents, caregivers, and educators to help children become lifelong learners. In addition to the more than 350,000 people that visit us at the Museum each year, thousands more New Yorkers also benefit from our outreach programs at schools, Head Start centers, shelters, libraries and hospitals.

Check out cmom.org to plan your visit. We hope you’ll stop by soon! And keep an eye out for special Blue Star Families programs that will be coming this fall.
