Here’s How Blue Star Nation Supported Our Troops this Holiday Season

Throughout December, family members and friends of service members trickled into their local Starbucks stores (many being military family owned) to celebrate and honor their heroes far from home this season; a campaign made possible by Blue Star Volunteers and Neighbors.

Powered by coffee and holiday cheer, our local elves (volunteers, baristas, and store managers) coordinated Yellow Ribbon Trees in 50 locations across the country where hundreds of Americans gathered to decorate and display ornaments in honor of our troops.

We asked to share in their salute by using #BSFYellowRibbonTree and here’s what it looked like:

We hung ornaments on the Yellow Ribbon Tree at our local Military Family Starbucks. We wrote messages to thank the men and women who are missing the holidays this year because they are overseas serving our country and keeping us safe. The tree will stay up throughout December if you would like to stop by your local Military Family Starbucks (1821 E Broadway for my local peeps) to write a message and hang it on the tree. 💛 #miniwheats #yellowribbontree #lolo💛 #bluestarfamilies #bsf #yellowribbon #starbuckssupportsmilitaryfamilies #starbucks #militaryfamilystarbucks #supportourtroops #militaryfamily #thankyouforyourservice #andyoursacrifice #weappreciateyou #merrychristmas #happyholidays
