Looking for something fun to do with your kids on Saturday without having to leave the house? It’s the 10th anniversary of “Kids to Parks Day” on May 16, but this year instead of visiting national parks, they are bringing them to you!
[Embedded Tweet] Celebrate #ParksToKids Day this Saturday. One way to join the fun is to download the ParkPassport app. We teamed up with Blue Star Families to bring you over 500 virtual park experiences! Download the app at www.kidstoparks.org.
This year, it will be renamed “Parks to Kids Day” and will become a digital experience that will take you virtually to national parks all over the United States for free! Families will also have the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of activities from home including backyard scavenger hunts, creating your own park, and even games such as Buddy Bison’s Backyard Bingo!
