Three weeks of fun from July 12 - July 30, 2021
Blue Star Summer Camp returns with more amazing virtual field trips to museums and parks to keep kids busy and engaged—whether you're PCSing or staying put! Designed as a solution for COVID-19 closures, Blue Star Families continues to deliver on families' needs for quality, FREE virtual summer programming, all while staying safe.
Register today to join us for three weeks of fun, which will include:
Field Trips!
During a one-hour Zoom event on Mondays and Wednesdays at 3 PM ET/12 PM PT, campers will tour selected museums and parks with a knowledgeable guide. The field trips will support the theme of the week and are designed to be as engaging as possible, knowing you're at home in front of a computer screen.
At-home Activities!
Each day will feature a selection of self-directed activities and ideas for your kids to tackle at home. Supply lists will be posted to prepare you to take on art and science projects using many materials you might already have around the house or in your craft drawer. We'll also include some suggestions for outdoor play, yoga videos, scavenger hunts, virtual park visits, and more!
Campfires!
We'll wrap up the week with a one-hour Zoom event on Fridays at 3 PM ET/12 PM PT, allowing campers to unite across the globe to sing campfire songs, show off their favorite projects, take part in a newly designed character development activity, and maybe even meet a special guest!
CAMP SCHEDULE AT A GLANCE
WEEK 1: JULY 12-16
SUMMER SAFARI
Explore the science of sharks at an aquarium and learn about rainforest rhythms at the zoo during the week's virtual field trips. You won't want to miss participating in events and activities that are sure to be a CHOMPING good time!
WEEK 2: JULY 19-23
AEROSPACE
With the help of our partners at Boeing, you'll explore outer space and the deep sea, and enjoy themed events and activities that will take you to the stars and beyond!
WEEK 3: JULY 26-30
MOTION IN THE OCEAN
Explore the "art of sea monsters" during a virtual dive to a marine sanctuary for this last week of field trips! You'll also get your "park on" with activities that may have you dreaming about getting into your local and national protected areas. Then, bring the whole family to our final campfire to enjoy one final activity exploring the atmosphere and building your very own molecule!

We know you have adapted all summer activities to be virtual so here are some recommendations to engage families with little ones this summer to learn and have fun at the same time! Each activity provides suggested learning ideas for families to do together.

We're awarding you the official title of "camp counselor" to lead the charge in your family. But don't worry - the Blue Star Summer Camp schedule we've put together will make it easy for you to direct a fun day for your MilKids!
