As the Communications Manager at Blue Star Families, Bana brings an strategic focus to her role in telling the stories of military families.
Over the course of her career, she has crafted communications strategies for marketing agencies in North Carolina, government organizations in Maryland, and as a military public affairs contractor in Germany. Born and raised on the Philadelphia Main Line, Bana graduated from Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications and Martin J. Whitman School of Management with degrees in public relations and marketing management.
Bana is an Army spouse of 14 years, 3 deployments, and 9 moves. She has served as a Family Readiness Group leader and Spouse Club president, and volunteers with the United Way and the Junior League.
When she’s not on a soapbox vociferously defending the Oxford comma and homemade hummus, you can find Bana volunteering at her children’s school or listening to her Headspace app, courtesy of Blue Star Families.
Bana lives with her husband and three children in Texas…until the Army tells them otherwise.
