Director of Workforce Development
Beth Conlin is the Senior Advisor for Careers with Blue Star Families. An Army Spouse, Beth has a strong background in sales, business development, and Military Spouse Employment. After 10 years working in the private sector, an overseas PCS to Germany forced her to quit her dream job and get more creative about her career. Through a fortuitous introduction with other military and foreign service spouses in similar circumstances, she jumped head first into helping solve military spouse employment challenges with ServingTalent, a full-service staffing agency for that under-served population. From educating employers, recruiting spouses, and directly placing spouses into long term careers, Beth has intimate working knowledge of the obstacles and has developed solutions to help reduce employment challenges. Now with Blue Star Families, Beth uses her expertise and experience to work with lawmakers, industry, and other non-profit organizations to make military spouse an issue of the past and help military families thrive. Beth holds an MBA from Chaminade University of Honolulu and a BS in Communications from the University of Idaho.
