National Events and Public Relations Manager
Caroline Koehn joined the Blue Star Families team in 2019 as a contractor before moving to staff as the National Events and Public Relations Manager. Caroline works on the National Events Staff planning and executing chapter launches, the annual survey release, and Celebration among other high-level events. Caroline brings many years of event planning experience to the team. Prior to joining Blue Star Families, Caroline specialized in weddings, corporate events, and large scale festivals while working in the broadcast and hospitality industries.
Caroline is married to CAPT Kevin Koehn, US Army, and they are currently stationed at Fort Carson, Colorado where they live with their daughter and dog. Caroline grew up in Rhode Island, where her father served in the Rhode Island Air National Guard. Caroline attended the University of San Diego where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Business Administration and Marketing. After graduating, Caroline returned to Rhode Island to attend Bryant University where she received her Masters in Business Administration. Caroline has served as Family Readiness Group Leader and sits on the board of the Mountain Post Spouses Club as the Marketing Chair.
