Equity and Social Impact Research



Cynthia is a part of the Applied Research team working as an Equity and Social Impact Analyst Consultant. She has nearly 20 years of nonprofit experience working at the community level to implement programming to meet identified needs. She has worked from Tennessee to American Samoa on issues ranging from community volunteerism to chronic disease prevention. Cynthia believes when research is conducted with community members seen as experts, organizations may begin to design innovative solutions to complex challenges.

Cynthia holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from Arizona State University and a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Mexican American studies from the University of Arizona. She is originally from Arizona; however, she has spent the past 7 years zig-zagging the country as a Military Spouse. Currently, her active duty Army husband is stationed at Fort Carson, Colorado where they live with their 5 children.
