Senior Advisor for Neighbor Engagement
Suzi Guardia is Arts Program Senior Manager of Blue Star Families (BSF), a not for profit organization that supports and serves military families. Ms. Guardia directs BSF’s arts programming and cultural partnerships including Blue Star Museums, Blue Star Theatres and Books on Bases. Prior to assuming this role, Ms. Guardia served as the Education Director at a series of museums and arts centers throughout the mid Atlantic. She has worked collaboratively with poets, scientists, dancers, artists, musicians and authors to bring the cultural fields together to benefit the larger community. Ms. Guardia believes that community is created at cultural organizations and that these institutions are, and will continue to be, important places of connection and support for military families.
