START Family Reading Program at Navy Federal Credit Union!
START (Serving, Thriving, and Reading Together) is a unique humanities-based and family-focused program building community among military and civilian families. Professional storytellers and story lovers lead six weekly storytelling, reading, and discussion sessions featuring award-winning children’s books. The program is free for participants.
Families with children ages 5 to 10 will enjoy discussing children’s stories about ideas such as family, courage, and community.
Dinner will be Served!
Just so you know, this family reading session is 6 weeks long. We want you and your family to get the most out of this fabulous program so please plan to be at all night. We know many families will be interested in participating and want to make sure this is something you are committed to.
