LOOKING TO LEAD YOUR COMMUNITY
Curious as to what our volunteers do? Here are a few examples..
Serve as the main event and outreach coordinator for a specific installation or geographic area within one of our regional communities. Work closely with Regional Director and Volunteer Leadership Team to coordinate community engagement opportunities. 6 events per quarter minimum.
Coordinate all event participation and outreach on behalf of BSF to increase local engagement in our Chapter locations. Collaborate with BSF staff to develop and lead local volunteer team. 3 events per quarter minimum.
Program and Event Coordinators:
Share your passions with other military families by directing BSF outreach for one or more of our unique programs. 1 event per quarter minimum.
Social Media Coordinators:
Manage social media engagement through the local BSF Facebook group or page. Assist the local team by sharing opportunities through local social media outlets.
Assist at BSF events, with projects or in support of one of our programs as your schedule allows.
Coordinate projects in support of military families using BSF project toolkits.
