Maggie Meza is the Chapter Director-San Diego for Blue Star Families (BSF), an organization that supports and serves military families. Maggie has over twenty five years of experience volunteering, advising, holding numerous executive board member positions, and fundraising for numerous organizations that advocate for military families.

Prior to joining BSF, Maggie served for two years as President of the Military Spouse Association of Camp Pendleton which is the first spouse club in the Marine Corps that hosts all ranks, all military branches, and retired spouses. Maggie also has served as an Advisor for the Navy Marine Corps Relief Society Camp Pendleton and the Exceptional Family Member Program for Marine Corps Community Services.

Maggie is the proud wife of a Marine who has served for thirty years, as well as the mother of three accomplished children. Through her husband’s career, Maggie has been exposed to multiple deployments and many permanent change of stations. Due to these experiences, she understands what many other military families go through, which is why she was driven to join Blue Star Families.
