Maria Tedford
Senior Director, Human Resources
Maria Tedford joined Blue Star Families as the Director of Human Resources. Maria is a human resources professional with diverse experience, and works to support organizational leadership with the unique perspective that that human capital is every organization’s greatest asset. Prior to joining Blue Star Families, Maria was the Director of Human Resources at a 950 employee healthcare system in New York State.
Maria holds a Master of Arts in Economics, and a Juris Doctor from Syracuse University. She also holds a Senior Professional in Human Resources certification from the Human Resources Certification Institute, and is a licensed attorney in the state of New York. Maria is a military spouse, whose husband served on active duty and now serves in the Marine Corps Reserve. She resides in the Adirondack Region of upstate New York with her husband and two children.
