Marisa Donovan

Marisa Donovan is Blue Star Families Senior Manager, White Oak Collaborative and Policy. She has a background in event logistics and sales/development, having worked in both the non-profit and private sector. Marisa graduated from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA with a degree in English and Concentration in Peace & Conflict Studies. Prior to joining the team, Marisa spent the past two years at home raising her young daughters and enduring two PCS moves in support of her Marine husband. She is so appreciative of the opportunity to work for an organization that understands and is working for the military family.

Marisa is married to Captain Rob Donovan, USMC, and they live in Monterey, CA with their two daughters and dog Tank. Marisa and her husband are avid outdoors people, recently summiting Mt. Kilimanjaro and they look forward to their next adventure with their girls!
