Brian Whiting

Brian Whiting has spent more than two decades working alongside members of the U.S. military, veterans, and their families through leadership roles focused on service, support, advocacy, and community engagement. Throughout his career, Brian served for nearly 20 years as CEO of organizations ranging from nationally recognized military support nonprofits to hospitality and tourism organizations, while also holding other senior leadership and advisory roles. He currently serves as Chairman of the Friends of Vietnam Veterans Memorial Plaza and previously served as President & CEO of the USO of Metropolitan New York, as well as in senior leadership roles with Blue Star Families. Prior to this work, Brian was a consultant in the Financial Advisory Services practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers focused on the hospitality, travel, and tourism industries.
A lifelong conservationist and outdoorsman, Brian is a member of numerous conservation and outdoor organizations and serves on the board of a leading conservation organization. He is actively involved in efforts focused on conservation, wildlife stewardship, and protecting outdoor spaces for future generations. Brian currently serves as a Commissioner on the Westport Conservation Commission, which is responsible for the protection, preservation, and stewardship of the town’s natural resources, wetlands, open space, and environmental assets.
