Edward Felsenthal is Executive Chairman and former Editor-in-Chief and CEO of TIME, and Senior Advisor, Office of the CEO at Salesforce. He led TIME’s evolution from a magazine into a modern media company with its largest-ever audience, an Emmy-winning TV and film division, and a worldwide live events business, expanding the iconic TIME100 list into a global leadership community. Before TIME, Felsenthal spent 15 years at The Wall Street Journal, rising from the Supreme Court beat to the top of the masthead, where he helped modernize the paper and oversaw coverage that won two Pulitzer Prizes. He also led two digital start-ups, as founding executive editor of The Daily Beast and founding editor of Al-Monitor, with contributors throughout the Middle East. A Memphis native and graduate of Princeton, where he serves on the Board of Trustees, he holds a J.D. from Harvard Law School and a master’s in international affairs from The Fletcher School.
