Spouse of the 6th Senior Enlisted Advisor to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff

Katrina Isom is the spouse of the 6th Senior Enlisted Advisor to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff (SEAC) David Isom.

She grew up in Vancouver, Canada, where she began a career in financial management and participated in many charitable activities through her workplace and church. Katrina moved to the U.S. in 2009 and has spent the last 15 years supporting service members and their families in many senior spouse roles at her husband’s command and duty stations, to include the Hampton Roads area, Colorado Springs, Hawaii, and the National Capitol Region (NCR). She has attended the Family Readiness Group training course, Ombudsmen course, and the U.S. Navy Command Master Chief Spouse Course. Katrina has also contributed to the support of military families through senior spouse mentor panels and worked on the Hale Keiki School administrative staff in Hawaii, where she provided military spouse perspectives and special support to military families enrolled in the school.

She is committed to supporting military families and improving their quality of life and continues to devote her time to working with multiple organizations around the NCR to ensure families are connected with the critical resources they need to succeed during every challenge and crisis.

Katrina is also a graduate of Old Dominion University, with a degree in Business Management and Accounting with a minor in Marketing.

Katrina is a mother to William and Elizabeth, and stepmother to four adult children. She likes the outdoors, hiking, snowboarding, baking, cooking, reading, and making soaps and candles.
