Military-connected families have so many responsibilities, from the day-to-day work to figuring out plans for things like PCS moves, activations and deployments, shifting childcare, employment insecurity, and more. Many times, military family members face added stress and worry as they try to make sure everything runs smoothly and to take care of everyone in the family.
In collaboration with our partners at Cohen Veterans Network, Blue Star Families is proud to offer a free course called Tools for Managing Stress & Worry. This self-paced course was created specifically for military family members to help cope with stress through a series of brief and flexible educational modules.
Tools for Managing Stress & Worry uses a research-based approach to teach people how to better understand stressors and build a toolbox of techniques to help effectively manage these experiences in the future. Although the course is designed for military-connected family members, anyone can take it. All you need is internet access! It’s accessible anywhere (including overseas), and you can follow along at a pace that works with your schedule. It’s also offered in Spanish!
It may be hard to remove yourself from your daily to-do list, but take some time for yourself and sign up to start the Tools for Managing Stress & Worry course today!
