Rachel Guetlein, MBA, LPC
Rachel Guetlein is married to General Mike Guetlein, Vice Chief of Space Operations. She is an LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) in the state of Virginia, where she specializes in working with adolescents, teens, and families focusing on areas including ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and gender diversity. Prior to this career path, Rachel worked in organizational development for Boeing Phantom Works and Portland General Electric, where she focused on leadership development and issues of inclusion for people with disabilities in corporate environments.
Rachel serves as the regional clinical director in the National Capital Region for A Home Within, a nationwide network of professionals who provide free weekly therapy to current and former foster youth as an essential support for their healing, resilience, and success. Rachel is also an ambassador for TAPS (Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors), and a member of the USO Service Council. As a military spouse, Rachel champions opportunities for spouses and families to find connection and support, particularly in cases where there are issues of geographic separation, isolation, or sparse resources. She also has a passion for suicide prevention as well as care and support for survivors of loss due to suicide.
Rachel holds a BA in Communication from California State university, Fresno, an MBA from the University of Phoenix, Portland, and an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Antioch University, New England.
