Harriet Dominique grew up rooted in values instilled by her parents: humility, faith, and service. Today, she draws upon those values to lead Diversity, Inclusion, and philanthropic strategies, including related investments, engagements, data and analytics, reporting, and oversight of communications for USAA, a $40B net worth, 36,000-employee financial services Fortune 100 company. She serves as USAA’s Chief Diversity, Inclusion, and Corporate Responsibility Officer, President of The USAA Foundation, Inc., and President of The USAA Educational Foundation. She also serves as Regional Vice President of the Downtown San Antonio Campus, a 1,600 personnel organization. With the purpose “to lead and inspire actions that improve lives in the military and our local communities,” Harriet leads high-performing teams that are dedicated to elevating equity and inclusion, improving military family resiliency, increasing investments in military philanthropy across the nation, and strengthening local communities where USAA employees live and work. Harriet began at USAA in 1989 as an entry-level call center representative and has held a wide variety of leadership positions. She strives to narrow divides between communities in hopes of a more inclusive and inspired society.
