The Barrier Island Sanctuary is a gem in south Brevard. Florida's beaches, especially along the east central coast in the Archie Carr National Wildlife Refuge, provide nesting habitat for more nesting loggerhead turtles than any place in the Western Hemisphere and more endangered green turtles than any place in North America. Enjoy a special day of exploration and learning about these amazing sea turtles. Learn how Global Positioning Systems (GPS) and satellites are used in conservation science. GPS units and hands-on geocache hunt are set up just for your group. We will also be good stewards and pick-up trash along the trail. Ranger Jabez will be joining us from Canaveral National Seashore. This is a day you won't want to miss!

How to Register: 

One ticket per family. When completing registration, please include the total number of adults and children attending.
