BSCO | Whidbey Island, WA | Fly Fishing Workshop
This is a three-part fly fishing workshop designed to introduce families to the fundamentals of fly fishing while building connection through nature-based experiences. All families who register are expected to attend all three sessions, as each builds on the last. Consistent participation ensures the best experience and learning opportunity for everyone involved.
Workshop 1 – Fly Fishing 101: Sunday, May 4th, 1PM to 2PM @ Oak Harbor Library
Join us for a comprehensive introduction to fly fishing! Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to refine your skills, this class covers all the essentials of fly fishing. Learn about the equipment you'll need, including rods, reels, lines, and flies, and gain hands-on experience with basic casting techniques. We’ll explore how to choose the right flies for different fish and environments, and teach you how to read the water to find the best fishing spots. By the end of the class, you'll be equipped with the knowledge and skills to confidently start your fly fishing journey, plus tips on conservation and etiquette to help you enjoy the sport responsibly.

How to Register:
One ticket per family. When completing registration, please include the total number of adults and children attending.
