Tom Hausman

Tom Hausman (he/him/his) joins the Blue Star Families team as the National Experience Manager, with a background in experiential event logistics and multimedia production. After graduating from the University of Maryland College Park with a degree in multiplatform journalism, Tom worked with a D.C. based events company, producing large-scale experiences for clients like R.E.I. and the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum. Growing up an Army Brat, Tom is deeply familiar with the needs of military families, and is thrilled at the opportunity to join Blue Star Families to support and celebrate families like his.

Tom lives in Washington, D.C. with his partner, Louis, their dog, Chef Girlardee, their Western Hognose snake, Linda, and too many houseplants to count.
