“Remember there’s no such thing as a small act of kindness. Every act creates a ripple with no logical end.”
– Scott Adams
And The Kindness Rocks Project definitely proves that to be true.
What’s The Kindness Rocks Project?
Imagine you’re out for a walk through your neighborhood or exploring your community, and you come across a rock painted with an inspiring message.
Chances are, it would put a smile on your face.
Or, maybe you’ve actually stumbled upon one of these cheerful pieces of art. Better yet, you’ve created one.
The point is, The Kindness Rocks Project is a global movement centered around painting rocks with uplifting words that are simple and small, yet impactful such as:
You matter.
Great things are headed your way.
Persist.
Stay bright.
These rocks are then left in a public space for others to find with two goals: to inspire and be the ripple, encouraging others to spread kindness and positivity.
So, in celebration of National Random Acts of Kindness Day on February 17th…
Blue Star Families is teaming up with The Kindness Rocks Project and Starbucks to host 50+ events this month at Starbucks stores from California to Florida, Alabama to New York.
Can you guess what activity you’ll get to be a part of at any one of these events?
Yup, you guessed it. Painting rocks with messages of kindness to then share in your very own community.
None of this would be possible without generous Blue Star Neighbors like Starbucks & The Kindness Rocks Project!
Thanks to partnerships like this one, we can continue to empower our nation’s military families while building mutually strong communities where they live. Not to mention, we give them the opportunity to see their civilian neighbors and businesses come together in support of those who bravely and selflessly serve our country.
