Michelle Brito

Michelle Brito is a seasoned financial specialist, military family program advisor, and spouse of a career Army soldier. Ms. Brito has worked in the fields of accounting, income tax preparation, mortgage lending, military finance, and government contracting. She currently serves as a member of the External Advisory Council for the Department of Military and Veteran Affairs of JP Morgan Chase & Co.

During her 34 years of marriage and 17 military moves, Ms. Brito has transported her career building skills and experience with each new opportunity. Recognized for her leadership as a thoughtful senior advisor, Ms. Brito dedicates volunteer time to building awareness and advancing networks which enable military families to engage and grow within their local communities. Michelle holds a degree in Economics from Penn State University and currently resides at Fort Myer, VA with her husband, Lieutenant General Gary Brito, Deputy Chief of Staff, G-1, Dept. of the Army. As a senior spouse, Michelle has devoted much of her time to advising and mentoring younger spouses as they travel their Army journey.

The Britos have two sons -Matthew, a Finance Manager, and Patrick, an active duty Captain, Apache helicopter pilot.
